Welcome to the Wiki[]
The Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys Wiki is a community site/portal dedicated to the Amazin' Adventures animated series Captain Simian & the Space Monkeys.
Anyone can edit here - this wiki can only grow with your help!
If you're new to this wiki, take a moment to check out the Wikia tutorial. If you have any problems please ask one of the active users for help.
Note About the Show[]
As it currently stands, CSatSM is a somewhat obscure show that never saw an official DVD or VHS release, and the only known archive of the series is a single person's home VHS recording that has been uploaded to YouTube (and reposted by various other people). Due to this format, the show's audio and visual quality is notably diminished, meaning some information is difficult to discern and hardly legible, if at all. Some important aspects, in particular the names of characters and locations, will by necessity be given conjectural spellings or, failing educated guesses, descriptive names.
However, the show does exist in high quality on the streaming service Tubi, available to watch for people without an account.
Special Contributions[]
If anyone is interested in and has the resources to look into finding an official HD archive of this series (such as in the Library of Congress), such efforts would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any verifiable information, merchandise, or production images (such as animation cels, concept art, etc.), etc. pertaining to this show, please feel free to add them to this wiki. They would be greatly appreciated.

- Raders of the Lost Art (Brad Rader's Character Designs) (Web Archive): A snapshot of early conceptual art done by show crewman Bradley Rader. Unfortunately, while this page itself was Web Archived, the individual images were not, and thus the only way they can be seen are as the page's small thumbnails or if they were uploaded to other sites, such as Pinterest.
- These pages are in the same style as seen in the 60-page Character Designs book found on WorthPoint.
- 14 out of Lost Art's 15 images are posted on his professional site's dedicated CSatSM gallery (missing Gor's "foot theory"), along with 3 images not on the former (all relating to Shao Lin's early design). Some of these images are also uploaded to this other page on his professional site, but with some images duplicated (with minor differences) for unknown reasons.

- Splitzy's Planet of the Space Monkeys: A fan-made website that is still extant, with wiki-like cataloguing of information pertaining to the series. Note that though the site has behind-the-scenes facts pertaining to the series, it does not have its own citation system like this wiki, and its forum (on which series creator Gordon Bressack was claimed to be active, and thus presumably where some information was sourced) thus cannot substantiate its claims. Any information that may be true has thus lost is veracity to the passage of time.
- Ron "Keeper" O'Dell's website (last updated July 1st, 1997, shortly after the final episode aired) that includes basic write-ups of every episode (claiming to have had information provided by series creator Gordon Bressack himself) as well as a message board for fans to talk to each other and even with Bressack himself. As it was made during the show's airing, and seeing as its description for the episode "Ape-lien" is identical to that on the official Amazin' Adventures website, the rest of its episode synopses are presumed to be official.
- Malcolm Tribute page (Web Archive could not be made): A geocities website dedicated to Malcolm McDowell. It summarizes and reviews episodes, and lists the voice cast and some pop culture references. Many of the links redirect to the Yahoo! main page.
